2nd week

well my son had some redemption this weekend after missing during the youth hunt when he rolled a nice 20lb 10inch beard 1 1/8 inch spurred Tom. we didn't hear much gobbling early on (pretty cold morning) but the activity picked up @ 9:30 or so when a Tom 4 hens and a jake walked by out of range and totally ignored my calling. then I heard  a faint gobble in the distance and called in 2 Toms about 80 yds they hung up, then a Tom 3 jakes and 2 hens came over and the tom & jakes made them come out of strut and go quiet but 1/2 hour later after the boss left they resumed answering my calls and my son shot one at 40 yds.it was 11:52.
