I drew my 1st choice but its a sure thing for me since I go for the later seasons, and lately there are always leftover tags then.

Got 5th season in zone 4. Will try to get a leftover for 6th season when they go on sale.

Have they posted the number of leftover permits yet?

Im glad to see that both of you got your first picks, but I do have a question. I always thought Turkey season always started down in FL. first and moved northward as the seasons warmed up due to the breeding cycles. So why does Wisconsin start so early? Here in KY it doesn't start till April 16th, if I remember right. I was just wondering.

Charlie posted dates that you can purchase leftover tags in Wis.

The season doesn't start until April 13th, and the youth season is April 9 & 10.

I drew my 1st choice too. The first period zone 3. Like you Charlie I hope the snow is gone too. Can't wait! Have a NWTF banquet on 10th of Feb. should be fun. Good luck all.

I drew mine, Zone 3, 3rd season 4/27-5/1. Now I'll get another for zone 3, 4th and 5th seasons, and zone 2 , 6th season

Go to the Online Licensing page at the WDNR website and put in your info like you were going to buy a license. Once your info comes up go to License & Permits, then to Spring turkey. When you get to Spring turkey it should say if you drew a permit and for what zone/time period.
