where are all the va. turkey hunters ?.....well this one has had a good season so far, got a 21 lbr in cumberland, and 19.5 lbr in goochland, both 2 yr olds, cumberland bird never said a word and goochland bird wore out his gobble box, first time i have killed 2 birds on consecutive days, awesome, 1 more tag, and i took off next week to hunt.....will i eat it or not, that is the question.....

Well why wouldn't you eat it??? Don't get any better. I slice up the breast about 3/8 of an inch ,, flour and deep fry. The legs and theighs I put in the crock pot with seasoning for about 8 hours[:D][:D]

i was refering to my tag.....my bad.....but you know, you could smoke a boot and it would be delicious.....

Ok ,,, I should of known better!!!![8|] I did try smoked tag one year but it didn't have the good flavor of a fresh bird!!![:D][:D]

the va. season closes on saturday, i was fortunate enough to tag out this year, got my last bird in goochland county on 5/3.....it was a great season for this guy !!
