No gobbling

I've usually found they gobble the most the first & last weeks of the season, this year isn't much different. Looking forward to Memorial Day weekend!!!

Still gobbling decent on the roost today on public ground.  Most quieted down after they hit the dirt, but struck some birds 1/2 hour later.  I had them going good, long story short a bird got sniped out from under me.  They were dlb/triple gobbling to the call and coming on a rope, once the gun shot, the woods were dead quiet rest of am. 
 
Back at it tomorrow.  Nothing like 1st week, but still workable.
