Anybody hearing or seeing turkeys as of today. Don't see to many in the fields yet. Not hearing any in southern Ohio either. Maybe, I need to get out of the house, but the rain keeps coming down.

Coming home from work in the mournings there are 3 fields I usually see turkeys in. In one field there is usually around 25, in te next one about 50 to 75, and the last field has a crap full of them, I would say over a hundred. I would think here in the next couple of weeks they should be breaking up into smaller groups. Last week I went out to where I hunt and didn't see any birds. I didn't think nothing of it since it was sprinkling rain and the wind was blowing about 20 mph. I stopped and was talking to few a people that live out there and they told me that they haven't seen the turkeys in a couple of months. ??????????????? Those birds better come back or Im up a creek without a paddle.

A young woman I work with just moved into a house about 5 miles from where I live . She was all excited this morning . She had a bunch of gobblers just over the hill from her new home on wednesday evening . She said they gobbled a bunch . Probably jakes but it sounds good .

Too much rain and mud to put boots on the ground.  Cruising in the Dukemobile, I haven't seen a one in their spring haunts from the road.   They'll be there eventually.

Whenever the weather plays nice, I'll be checking for sign.

I saw 13 today in a field near work. I havent seen them for a while but today they were out in the pouring rain.

Blumtngobbler, I,m thinking about hunting in PA. in the southwest area. Have you ever hunted in that area and if so any info. on public land. thanks

Things are looking up, the weather is better and the toms are liking it. Been seeing and hearing more each day. Been having a tom and 5 hens in the back yard the last 5 days. He even give my wife and me an X rated show. I was hoping she would get the hint, but not. I think that tom had one of may grandkids tag hanging on him as they past there hunting ed. class this year and want to turkey hunt. good luck everybody

I think that old tom definitely should get the heat from the kids. They are dangerous to have around the house , you know.
