Turkey Kill

Well another season has came and went,the kill was up here in Lawrence Co. OH. 1 Bird over last year,I spoke with our new Game Warden this week. Here @ our check station in So. Eastern Law. Co. we checked in 65 birds we were down 9 birds,CRAZY weather.

wbp93, What area did you get to hunt? I hunted in lawrence county a few times but didn't know how the season went. A few buddys and I ended up with three long beards out at the strip mines. The one I got was killed at 9:00 and the others later in the morning. Just seemed like they didn't want to play until later in the morning. Hope you had luck and a good season.

I missed out on turkey season all together...unfortunately I was stuck out on the boat ( work) ..heres hoping for the fall season!!!

I just shot my first bird of the year yesterday!!! i was by myself slipped in tight on him he wwas gobblin his head off he flew down in front of me went into strut at 40 yards as soon as he came out of it i let him have!!! FILLED HIM A NO. 6 and i was back at the house by 7:00 i shot him at 6:30.he had 1 inch spurs, 9 inch beard and weighed 22 lbs

northeast OH, are down a little to its this weather

havent been seein as many birds as last year. the jake count is really down

jake count is down quite in northeast ohio a bit kinda scares me a little

the weather was terrible
two in the freezer is better than two in the tree.
