...for some turkey chasing.  A little on the warm side!  Did have a couple respond to a fighting purr call, but couldn't get them out in the open.  Saw 6 plus hens in another field (non-permission land, of course!).

May head out this evening if the weather cooperates.   Great to be chasing birds again!

I shot my 6.8 lb jenny on 10/12. I'm the only person to kill one in Lake county within the first 5 days of our season. Nothing tests your nerves or your skills as breaking up a flock and calling them back in! Sad its over. PA.....? Good luck Duke0002 and all you Buckeye state hunters!!

Congrats on the jen.  Have seen/heard a few more, but nothing close.  They seem to be all over the map.  Going to get more mobile.
