Another odd call....

Here's some pics of another odd call my buddy gave me. He's retired, and a gun dealer, so he goes to auctions, sales and gun shows and finds me these calls and gives them to me. I tried it and it does not sound at all like a turkey. The only thing I can get out of it half decent is purrs.

 I guessing you just twist the top part like the lid of a box call? Does the rubber band have a function, or is it just there to keep the call from making unwanted noise?

I don't think the rubber band is for anything other that keeping it together. The peg is so loose it will come out. Maybe it's just a conversation piece.[:D]

talked to an old callmaker about the call...he said he has seen them but didnt know who the originator of the call was...but it is a real call
