Ever see a call like this?

A friend of mine gave me this call this morning. I never saw one like this before and took it home and started practicing with it. I wasn't sure how to use it, but got it figured out and doesn't sound bad. I think i'm going to try it this spring maybe later on in the season when nothing else seems to work. It might be what the Dr. ordered.

Ok. Looking at the picture I have to ask. Just How DO you use it?

You put the pointed end into your mouth and your upper lip over the hole then force air through from your throat through the hole and use your tongue to make the yelps, sort of. [:D]

I also cup my hands over the end of the hole.

Works sorta like a tube call never saw one like that it should work!

Never saw a call like that before. Looks complicated. Let us know how it works out this spring.  Who made it?

I don't know who made it, i'll have to ask my buddy. I am going to make one like this but do some alterations on it.

yep, got one in my collection - I could never get the 'replacement' latex stretch right.
 
Have one made out of pvc pipe too - same deal, my stretching skills are lacking.
