My First Pot Call/Gobbleking Turkey Calls

Postby Gobbleking57 » July 23rd, 2009, 2:59 am

Turned my very first pot call this week and wanted to share. Its made from spalted maple with green anodized aluminum over glass. She's a screamer. Hope you like. Turned a matching striker for it out of Cocobola and curly maple.

Ran a little soundfile to give you an idea on the sound of this call. Not the greatest run but enough to display the yelp volume this call can produce. Its a little 3" and fits right in the palm of your hand.

I have been a little busy with family duties and missed this one.  Very nice call.  I can't wait to see your others.

The head on that striker is spectacular. Very nice shape and detail. Sounds like a winner too.
