Maybe you should thank your neighbor to the North - Iowa - for re-introducing bobcats into the Souther Iowa woods a few years ago!!! ...They even had to initiate a bobcat season after that - and this past year nearly 100% of the bobcat tags reported harvested - and over 90% of those were not the original animals - but their offspring....

I know for a fact that bobcats have been seen with young on the property I hunt in Iowa and I have seen an adult on my property just into Missouri. Between that and a run of bad hatches, we may have some lean years ahead.
