2013 Twin Cities "Head 2 Head" Championships

We are pleased to announce the date of the 2013 Twin Cities "Head 2 Head" Championships at the Northwest Sportshow in Minneapolis, MN

Presented by Federal Premium Ammunition (http://www.federalpremium.com/) and Avian X Decoys (http://www.zinkcalls.com/products/turkey/index.php)

The contest will be held in a grand room, very similar in appearance

to the room that the Grand National Calling Championships are held
in. The contest stage will be set up very much like it is at the Grand
National Calling Championships as well and will feature a judges booth
that is positioned at the front of the stage, decorated with award
winning turkey mounts and a beautiful, photographic backdrop that
will draw the audience's eyes. The entire contest will also be streamed
"Live" over the internet at http://www.CallingAllTurkeys.com/

New this year, and replacing the "Open" division
will be the double elimination, "Head 2 Head" Championship.

Divisions:
Head 2 Head - $20 Entry Fee, Open to Anyone (Rules: http://www.nwtf.org/special_events/imag ... _adult.pdf)
1st Place: $400 2nd Place: $200

Friction - $20 Entry Fee, Open to Anyone
1st Place: $200 2nd Place: $125 3rd Place $75

Hunter - $20 Entry Fee, Anyone who has not qualified for GNCC may compete
1st Place: $150 2nd Place: $100 3rd Place $50

Owl Hooting - $10 Entry Fee, Anyone may enter
1st Place: $100 2nd Place: $70 3rd Place $30

Gobbling - $10 Entry Fee, Anyone may enter
1st Place: $100 2nd Place: $70 3rd Place $30

Jakes - $10 Entry Fee, Ages 13-20
1st Place: $100 2nd Place: $70 3rd Place $30

Poults - Free to enter, Ages 12 and under
1st Place: $50 2nd Place: $35 3rd Place $15

All participants must be current members of the NWTF on the day of the contest. Memberships may be purchased at the sign up booth the day of the contest or online at http://www.nwtf.org/

All contestants will receive free entry into the Northwest Sportshow. If you plan to compete, please send an email to simpzenith@yahoo.com listing your name and
the names of any other contestants that will be in attendance.

Perhaps I am blind but what are the dates and times for the competitions? I will try to come down there and possibly meet a few of the T&TH members there and talk turkey.

I'll be there as well at the state convention. Dewey I tell you you get out there in enter the contest. If you want to test the waters so to speak enter the hunter division. its for anyone that has took 1or2 in the open or the friction. you can use mouth calls or friction in the hunter. I will do hunter,friction,and the open at state.I will probably do hunter and maybe the head to head in the twin cities open wont make it very far though. I will be honest with you my calling has improved so much get in to the contest calling. Gopher this goes for you too as well. I would like to see you gents there
