May 1st NY Bird!!!

Got this bird on Opening day after the best hunting of my life. They gobble like crazy when they have no hens. This bird had a 10" beard and 3/4" spurs. Best of my two toms that I have gotten. And i'm 18 years old and loving the outdoors!

I got out called by some real hens this morning...  This  old tom was BIG.  I'm going after him tomorrow for a few hours before I have to go to work.  Hopefully, I'm late for work[;)]

Hey by the way where are u from in NY? I am from Chautauqua county!! Wont be able to hunt til sunday cause I am away for college. But I am home and going strong sunday mornin. Thanks for getting me even more pumped up about it!! Good luck on ur next tag!!

I go to College at Buffalo State. I went hunting on opening day at a buddies land in Clarence.lol I live in Amherst right now but I am from Frewsburg NY its just south of Jamestown NY right by the PA border.  Its a small world man. TTYL
