decoys do work very well, and not using decoys works, it does not depend on us its up to the Turkey you are trying to lure to you.
so I would say be flexable and get to know the one you want.[8|]

Welcome, leroy,...I see you are trying to steer clear of the big decoy debate in the General Discussion forum...probably a good idea!  Is that 1951 for the year you were born?  If so, that is a good one!

new member here, ond only 2nd year turkey hunter.  Saw 1 last spring, and missed one with my .223 last fall. Im thinking about using a decoy. u say i need to get to know the one i want. wat do u mean, and how would u sugest going about doing that?

I don't use decoys. The last time I did I had a gobbler coming in but when he saw the decoy he took off like he was shot in the kazoo
