Heres a pic of a hen I called in after Yogi busted up a big flock. I called several birds in but wasn't only able to get the one shot off.

did you scatter and call,,,or just call ?

I went to an area I never hunted before.  Mountain area with a lot of wild grapes, basically went in blind.  Called with a mouth call and nothing.  Switched to the wingbone and two longbeards came running in. Took this one and the other was about the same size.  This guy was 19 1/4 lbs. with an 8 inch beard.  Used it two days later while calling for a friend and he got one.  In that case it was a small flock of young ones that came to the call.

that's great ,,,,gives a little more credence to the WINGBONE . this will be my first season to use the wingbone,,,,,,,,,even though i ain't profficient with it yet .
your wingbone looks somewhat large in the pic. is it a hen bone ,,,tom bone ,,,or combination of both ?
