Favoite Merriam hunt and picture

My oldest son and I got a sloooooooow double on 2 Merriams in Nebraska a few years back.The boys bird was a dandy.Mine was pretty rough.I shot it on the fly at treetop level.It landed on an old stump.More feathers on the stump than left on the bird!

Can't beat doubling up with your son out of state on a couple of Merriams.  I love hunting Merriams.  Beautiful birds!!
