worked one bird yesterday,,,JIM SPENCER would have thrown rocks at me for sittin' down wrong, and i deserve it ,,,leaving REDLINE  in a place where a shot to the right was impossible. there stood the bird at 20 yards , maybe less.
today my stepson took what was possibly the same bird ,,,,,see ''1 hour , 40 minutes '' thread .
tomorrow ?  i'm goin' alone , no strings attatched ,,, old school turkey tactics are in order,,,,i can't wait!

Turned out to be a pretty nice day a little on the windy side, but nice.  I worked one bird all morning finally getting him to come in after several moves and hours later, turned out the bird I battled all morning was Jake, so I let him walk, maybe I'll see him next year.

Congrats to your buddy Brad. I know what you mean by downpour. We hunted in Monroe County that day! No luck. But we got out the following morning & lucked out right off the bat! Had no idea turkeys were roosted there, but knew they like to roost in this area. Set up in bottom pasture before daylight and 2 hens pitched down in front of us. Longbeard followed and came running to decoys! Busted him @ 15 yds! (on video) Let him dry out to take pictures.
