Thanks, guys! I was dubbing last night and forgot to post these pics after my Maine bird! I had an AWESOME season!
You are also correct about the terrain. Maine is nothing but mountains. These birds dont get heavy but they are a challenge!
NH, well it can be hilly , but around my area there are some farms and small woodlots! I shot this years NH bird on the backside of a small dairy farm.
VT, well not an easy hunt. The first bird I shot at 5:55 am on the topside of a large green field. The second one was shot at 11:30 am at the bottom of a big ridge he was roosted on that morning. I pulled him off a posted piece I could not hunt. LOTS of dairy farms in VT.
Impatience is hard to ignore, but patience puts the bird in the truck!
