Montana Merriams

Postby JW » June 29th, 2009, 2:42 pm

Here are some pics from last year's hunt in Montana. Unfortunately, due to a job loss, I didn't get to go this year. I also couldn't re-join my local club so my hunting was limited this year. So, I guess it goes without saying how much I'm looking forward to next season. Anyway, I figured y'all don't mind checking out some old pics. Please enjoy.

Hey, Jason, those are some great pictures and great looking birds!  The only things that messes the pictures up is those two ugly dudes in the photos (sorry,...just couldn't resist!).  ....Really nice photos, man....congrats!

Thanks Jim,

You're right though. We hunters are pretty ugly compared to those beautiful birds!

Those are some outstanding Merriams, JW!

Some year I hope to travel more to hunt turkeys of different subspecies! But til then I have the enjoyment of seeing your success!

Congrats, and I hope you get to return next spring!

Thunderchicken,
Thanks. Just remember though, once you hunt in these other parts of the country, you might as well figure it into your budget annually. It's hard, if not impossible, to not go back.
