My brother Jed knocked down his 1st turkey ever. 18 pound jake, 4 inch beard, 1/2 inch spurs. Great hunt. Full story in NY section. Check it out! Got in woods at 6:00 AM, Hunt was done at 6:10AM

Great Job Jed! Did you use the 835 on that bird?

Got my 14 year old son shooting the 835 this year. He has a cast on his left arm from a skating accident, but did real well at the patterning table. Waiting to see if he can reload that corn shucker in the heat of the moment.

Jed did use the 835. The kids tough. We use 3 1/2 inch shells in it and it didnt even bother him. He wants to shoot it again.
