These are some of the videos I have from this past season. I learned alot but 3 of the main lessons were: Make sure you're not filming on the lowest possible setting out of 5 options ( I'm an idiot), learn to use the manual focus, and you can't hide behind stuff with the camera like you
This first one was in Texas and after this I went sttraight home and overnighted a Burris Fastfire sight beforeI went out to NM. Every thing was going just fine and I was in no hurry and was watching the bird strutt at 25 yards. I could see the bird well althought hte camera angle was not good. Watch at the end and you'll see what came in and caused some of the drama. I don't think we're ready for prime time yet???
This was in Texas as well and a friend called and I was the shooter. It was the first time anyone has been with me when I killed a bird besides Mary

This one is....lets just say more interesting than it should have been??....I was alone and carrying the camcorder and set up best I could at the time.........Watch at the very end and you'll see someone disappear into the sunset

In Texas again with a friend calling. This bird was going to another hen and just paying us a little lip service

In Montana here with alot of hen talk & gobbling audio and not really any good video at all. This went on for 25 minutes easily and this is just a cut out of the video. You can se the gobbler towards the end. They're not nearly as far as it looks on video. When the hens topped the hill they were 25 yards away.
