2013 PA Spring Gobbler

This one was 17 lbs, had a 10 1/4" beard with 1 3/8" spurs taken May 17th

Nice gobbler! He ain't especially heavy, but weight doesn't mean much. He has hooks, and he was a scrapper. Congrats!

He was not a heavy bird but for a true Boss Gobbler that is the breeder in that area, I would expect him to be a little lighter. He had a lot to take care of and still was with a hen the day I shot him. He had two grubs and two leaves in him and that was it. Thanks for the congrats guys, I was blessed to take this gobbler!
