Although I had hunted Turkey many years ago, unsuccessful, this is my first Gobbler. It was my second hunt of the season. I had one sneak up behind me in the field on the other side of the separating trees I was in and he few off for whatever reason, then within 10 mins of more calling, I heard one gobbling and coming up the field from the right. The next thing I know he is behind me at the same wood/field fence line. As I was trying to decide what to do, I catch movement to my left... a big gobbler coming down in front of me from the left... straight for my decoys. Needless to say... I got him. What fun that was!! Can't wait to get back out there!! 21lbs, 12" beard, and 1" spurrs.
