Another nice bird JPH, congrats.  I shot a Jakezilla tuesday morning, 19 pounds 6 in. beard.  Most jakes around here are usually 14 to 15 pounds with a short stubby beard.  When he came in I had no doubt he was a 2 year old bird,  boy was I surprised when I went to grab him and he had no spurs.  Still a great hunt.  I'll post pics when I have more time to figure out this new format.

You'd think again if you'd seen me in action yesterday. I got out late, set-up on an empty knob and spent the rest of the morning following birds that wanted nothing to do with me. Worse yet, I used a vacation day to sleep in and see the kids off to school today.

I'm sure the turkeys aren't too disappointed about that.

Oh well JPH... I guess you win some and you lose some.  After harvesting a bird that scores 77.000 you damn well earned yourself a day off.  At the very least I bet you figured out a plan of attack on those birds that didn't want to play with you the other day.  Go get 'um man!! and keep us posted.

JPH congrats on the birds. It sure seems all your hard work on your property has paid off for you in both turkeys and deer.
