1st bird

This jake is my first ever bird taken.  It weighed 17lbs and had a 5in beard.  It took me a while to get one, but it was worth the wait!

Congrats on the bird man, a five inch bead is a great trophy on the first score.  I had trouble gettin my first bird back when and when I finally nailed one with a four and half in beard you'd think I landed a twenty nine pounder!  Good luck the rest of the way and welcome to the ranks!

My son Mitch just shot his first bird a 16 1/2 lb. Jake with 1/4 inch spurs and 4 inch beard. It is first animal as he is 12 and just started to hunt. Unfortunately for him he thinks that turkey hunting is easy now as in three time out he has had 2 shots. The first was on a huge gobbler but he missed. He also had three mature gobblers blasting him from 5 yards away in his face!
