2012 outlook

Looking for outlook for the soon to be season in the north. Thinking bout traveling to give it a try. Last year was awesome there. In the years I've hunted there I never see any jakes but the long beards have been there everytime I've tried. By the way are the ticks out of hand yet? They put me in bad shape in 2003. Out of staters beware and take caution.

2 be quite honest with you, I don't know what the season will bring. Hot weather in early march has got me worried because I don't know how this is going to affect the turkeys by the time the season rolls around. I will go ahead and tell you the ticks are already bad. From baiting deer in feb. to turkey scouting in march I have found numerous ticks on me. As for turkeys I don't think none of us KY boys know because 80 degree weather in the beginning of March probably hasn't been seen since majority of us has been alive.
