I'm not from Kentucky, but am hunting here for a few days. Seeing a few birds but not heard the first gobble. Not sure whats going on. I have hunted rios and osceola but this is my first trip for easterns. Are they normally this quiet?

I hunted Pulaski, Wayne and Cumberland Counties worked birds everyday except one. Tagged out.

I just looked up the harvest results for this year; Over 36,000 birds this spring!! Congrats to you muzzy125acc, I also tagged out this spring. My pal Mike got his first bird ever opening morning and I also shot one right after him, to take a double, which was cool. I took another one Wednesday evening of opening week. He was a nice bird, 23#, 11-1/2" beard, and 1 1/8" spurs. How did everyone else do? Not many posts showing them off, considering we had our best year to date! Congrats Ky. Hunters

I will be hunting KY Lord willing. I hunt bath, rowan, montgomery, etc. I didn't start turkey hunting until about 7 years ago, but it sure gets in your blood. I live in Montgomery co.
