Well I did get out weds evening after I got done with training classes and at 7'oclock I shot a 26 pound bird with a 9 inch beard, Thats GOOD!! now the BAD!! my season is over!! I like the idea of tagging out early and not wondering if Im gettin one but now Ive got one it kinda sucks! knowing you cant go back into the woods, I guess thats where the term "BITTERSWEET" comes from. Well thats all I got to say! I guess I got more time to Crappie fish now! Good luck Guys

Congrats on the bird.  I went out the last two days and I have seen very nice toms way out in a field but they won't come in due to hens being present.  And this (bleeping) rain isn't helping out either.

All I want is take my first bird ever.  I'm not asking much am I??????[:@]
