First Longbeard ever!!!!!!

Postby Gobblernut » April 16th, 2008, 8:57 am

[:D] Finally succeded..... April 16th at 6:50 am... A moment I will never forget.. 18lb 9" beard so excited forgot to measure the spurs..Not a limbhanger by no means but it's a trophy to me. Still haven't gathered my composure... Will post pics later today..I'm truly lost for words...Never dreamed a bird could almost make my heart stop...Straight off the limb straight to me couldn't believe it.. 30yds..If i never take another bird I will never forget that moment..Waiting on daylight to go for # 2. I'm sure it'll never work like that again..But hoping it does..

Congrats on the nice bird.

Gotta love them shells. I have been using them since they came out.

And that 835. What choke are you shooting? I shoot the factory Ultiful choke.

Factory choke ulti-full...Same as you ... Why change it works...That's my way of thinking..I really like the choke of course i don't really prefer a extremely tight pattern i like to scatter it a little that's just me everbodys different..lol....
