Great post Grunt_doc. I've never really carried any kind of first aid kit with me but have always been aware that accidents can happen and its a solid hour to hour and a half to the nearest hospital depending on how far it is back to the truck. So, i think i will begin working up three. One for my vest, one for my backpack i use deer hunting, and one for the toolbox on my truck. I'll also be doing a little research on basic procedures. Hope i never need to use one but i'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
