You have no idea how ticked off I am about this verdict. I know a lot of people say that he'll have to suffer the rest of his life knowing that he killed his son...but this was no accident! It was 100% preventable. Through is irresponsibility and neglect he killed someone and he gets a slap on the wrist. The only thing that stuck was the 2nd degree manslaughter that he pled guilty to. They dropped the negligent discharge of a firearm, the trespassing charge, the marijuana charge, and the hunting without a license.
It seems silly to me that he lost his hunting privileges because he wasn't hunting legally to begin with, why would it matter if he lost them now?
