IA's 2nd shotgun season started on 12/13 got my first deer ever on 12/14! he was a small 8 pt. shot him running with a singleshot 20 ga.[:)]

i declare thats commendable, first deer and a runningshot to boot.
congratulations on both the shot and the buck.
ohios second shotgun season opens tomorrow morning. took a little fork horn in early november with the bow, a button buck in the first gun season ,and hope to fill another tag tomorrow. it'll be my first trip to public land in pursuit of deer in over 20 years.
