I'm new to the forum but my guess is someone who does not use decoys, only runs and guns, does not use a blind, only kills a bird under 10 yards and calls in contests.
Experience is the best teacher.

If the guy was a pro caller he wouldn't be stupid enough to sit there all day he would have left and found another bird to kill.

No.

The better your calling the better your chances of killing a bird.

Calling is overrated, I killed a gob on my very first hunt within 15 minutes...no mentors, no help just a VHS tape and mags....1 week later called up another tom for my brother, he gun misclicked, he ejected the shell while I kept the gob interested with my box call (keep in mind less then 1 month experience using it) and busted him from 30 yards out.

I know the woods and how to move around in them, I can call but I don't take it that serious, no two hens sound alike has been my experience.

Knowing when not to call is what makes you a good caller

^^^ Quoted for truth.
It amazes me how Gobblers can zero in on your location after only one series of calls made 30 to 40 minutes before they come to them.
