Read most of the reviews and just about everyone of them said be very careful or the feathers will come apart or a couple said they had to fix theirs with thread after starting to come unraveled. Another quick and cheap marketed item. Well not cheap. One guy said buy 10 of them and still cheaper then a real hen mount. Shoot your own bird and do the same thing correctly and they may last more then one or two seasons.
I seen where Gander Mnt. had them also today. I ran into an older gentleman there and he said can you believe all this junk thats out here just to kill a turkey. I have a Lynck box from the early 60's and a wingbone, once every year I will buy a new mouth call to use. I liked that guy. Oh he shot and old model 12 full chock. You don't run into many like him anymore. Never once did he ever say how many birds he killed last year or years past but simply stated what a wounderful and adventurous game bird the turkey is. Due to time we had to exchange contact info.
[:)] Hey TB, ifin you were at the Gander store here in Fredricksburg, VA today it may have been. He was from Culpeper county here. I am going to call him Saturday and see if he wants to meet some where for a coffee.
