I am a lineman for an electric company in central KY and last friday mornin which would have been the 27th i heard a bird gobble four times while we were out working. I was ready to drop the tools and go after him. I dont think it will be much longer before they get going. I live around the Danville area, about 45 minutes south of Lexington. Where you located Bluegrass boy.

I live just north of Sheperdsville in Bullitt Co. I talked to a cousin just south of me and as of Friday he had not been hearing anything. I thought about going out Sat. morning but I gotta get those honey do's done before starting my 3 week deployment on April 18th (opening day). I have talked to a friend who said he has been seeing some strutting birds. If the weather doesn't get to crazy I'll be going out on Friday morning. MAKemQuiver keep me posted and I'll do the same.
God's greatest gift to a turkey hunter is the 2 hour bird.
