On last years opening morning my dad, brother, and myself were in position on a roosted gobbler within 100 yards. We were on a very steep hillside with the overall wooded area of maybe 10 acres. We parked cars on both ends of the road to make sure people knew somebody was in that spot. At daybreak a pickup rolled in 50yrds beyond my truck, parked and started walking up towards us. I walked to the opening to where they could see me and waved an orange hat. They saw me and continued toward me. I've never been as angry as I was at that moment. When I approached them, they replied "yeah we seen you and we're going up there to hunt." What would you have done??? Whether it matters or not, we were on a piece of my family's property.
The property wasn't posted and those ignorant turkey chasers (not worthy of being called hunters) said they had permission. When asked who they got permission from they named the neighboring property owner. We set them straight and on their way after we gave them a batch of choice words.
The reason for this post was more hear what you guys think, not so much the property issue, but how ignorant some people are. I don't know about you guys but if I'm hunting and I see a vehicle or another hunter I go somewhere else.
