This thread has been around since 2010. Let's keep bumping it to the top and maybe they'll notice it...

The original post was so long ago, I thought it may have been on the old board.

BTW, I still want a T&TH cap.

I think I saw this before but if not this is a great idea Jim.

What about it Brian or Ben? Say $15-20 per hat. Great advertising for T&TH.

Maybe we need to start a T&TH hat fund (pass the hat so to speak) where we help raise operating $$ to make this happen. You know, kinda like a pre-order deal. I haven't had any contact with management here, but if we got the ball rolling, who knows?

You know, it almost seems like we should start some kind of project to help raise some money for turkeys or some turkey-related project. Or, we could adopt a hunter with a disability and sponsor them a turkey hunt somewhere special. I'm sure somebody here knows of a wounded warrior or someone similar who could use the opportunity to get out & chase longbeards somewhere special. I don't have a lot of $$, but I have some I'd spare towards a thing like that. Maybe we could do a hat drive where a portion of the proceeds could go towards realizing that dream hunt for a deserving hunter. It would make for a good story for the magazine & it would make me feel pretty good to help out someone who sacrificed for all of us.

I'm not real good at making anything turkey-related, but I would be willing to frame some arrowheads and spear points that I flintknapped myself and donate that to the cause.

It doesn't have to happen this year & it would probably be better if it was allowed to build up for next turkey season. What does everybody think?
