End of Seasons

Postby WillowRidgeCalls » May 21st, 2014, 9:57 pm

Is it just me or did this season fly by quick? Seems like we just started hunting and it's already down to the last couple days left. WI. should be having another bumper crop year for birds with the spring we've had, and there were a lot of active birds around this spring. They've been gobbling all spring and are still gobbling strong all day long. I haven't seen another turkey hunter or truck in any of the places I've hunted since the 3rd season, I saw one truck on the publics I hunt. It should be a good nesting year for the hens, at least in this area.

Easy man don't be rushing the season by so fast yet. I still have a tag and 10 days left to enjoy trying to fill it. Also they seem to be really starting to gobble now. I had one just about choke himself to death this morning he was gobbling so much :D Also I have yet to experience poison ivy and multiple mosquito bites yet this spring :P
