Passing of Mom

Postby WillowRidgeCalls » June 10th, 2013, 2:07 pm

My Mother passed away this morning at age 90. She was a hunter and fisherwomen up until she could no longer walk. When I'd come home she'd always want to know about the hunt and what we saw or if we got anything. She lived with me since the passing of my Dad back in 2001. She was a great mom and will be missed dearly.

My sincere condolences Scott. Life has no deeper pain the the loss of some one close to us. They will always live in our hearts and wait for us with our Lord. Until that day we keep them alive with our heart, love and memories.

Passing Through

Of all life’s pain
The worse thing I have known
Is to watch fathers, mothers and friends
Slip away and be no more
To miss those whom I love
And to feel the sting of their death

Those for whom my pain runs deepest
Is those whose destiny I do not know
The ones who never quite understood
We are only passing through
To those who never knew, I cry out
Yet for those whom I know
I cry out too

Some of my tears are pain and some are joy
So strange that tears can profoundly express
The broad expanse Of our human experience
Yet the human experience is temporary
Simply put, it is our path to eternity
We are only passing through

Scott, very sad to hear of your Mom's passing. My Mom was with me as well until she passed at the age of 96 not too long ago. It is a blessing to have them with us; and a huge loss for the whole family when they leave us. It's clear to all of us she taught you the important things about life, and leaves you with a great legacy for your children. May her memory be eternal.
