Welcome to the forum S&D! Where are you from? When does your season start and what are your hunting plans for this spring?

Good luck this spring.

I was born raised and live in southwest ms.our season started march 15th and been really slow. The gobbling picked up a little right at Easter. Been fortunate enough to have taken one of my 3 birds on April fools day. My stomping ground is the homochitto national forest and boy are these birds tough. Our season opens earlier than a lot of other states so we have hordes of hunters from Arkansas Alabama Tennessee and Louisiana. When they go back home for their season the birds here are some of the toughest you ever wanna meet.
