There is no resaon to leave the younger trees and letting them mture. A clear cut is just pure greed.
The property next to my honey hole got cleared cut a couple of years ago. That place is nothing but a stinking briar patch now and totally screwed up how the turkeys move through the area. I might also need to added that the butt head that did the clear just had to start doing it on opening day.
Then stopped cutting the day after the season ended.
That year was the only year I ate tag soup.
