I like natural locators-- real crows and owls and such sounding off while I listen. This was a perfect instance. Sadly, I had only one lock-jawed gobbler, but I had a bunch of other visitors keeping me busy. Listen for the hens

I love the podcast Shaman! The turkeys have only been gobbling down here in Knox County, KY for a little over a week.
There's more fun in hunting with the handicap of the bow than there is in hunting with the sureness of the gun.

I was listening to it at work. A guy stops and asked me what I was listening to and I told him gobblers of course. He shook his head and walked away. :D

Things have been cranking up slowly, but it's actually nice to hear gobs at all this year. The last two years, it was all the way to April 1 before I heard gobs on the property.

Yes, most of my co-workers just shake their heads and walk away when I tell them what I do for a hobby. You ought to post this in your office:
