Getting right

Postby 1Morgan » March 1st, 2013, 6:00 am

I watched 2 flocks with 5 strutters breeding their hens, yesterday. Only 14 more days until the opener. Everything is right on time this year.

It's supposed to drop into the lower 30's this weekend. I'm more concerned with things greening up too early. It makes it so difficult to hear them.

22 degrees here in the upstate this a.m. and nothing even thinking of growing here, in our water logged soils!!
Though, it is suppose to be in the high 60's by next week end :o

perfect in southeast alabama. listened the past 3 mornings at different properties with no gobbles. birds still in good sized flocks. the cold weather has put the blooms on hold and the cold weather is supposed to let up just prior to the youth weekend next week. i think its going to start right on time in my neck of the woods.
