Vote: Federal Magshok or Winchester supreme Loads?

Hey guys, it's coming down to these 2 loads. I'd like to see the most recommended of the 2. Not if you use them or not or what you would use besides them but if you had to choose between the 2 which load would it be. Votes backed with personal experience are much appreciated. Thanks!

Winchester Supremes

I have great success with them. Both my guns shoot them the best out of a lot of different loads that I tried. One shoots #4's and the other #6's. Most of my friends have had the same results.

Do both of these brands shoot the best out of your gun, or have you not tried others too?

I prefer the Feds. Out of my gun they hold the most consecutive even pattern between the two.

I used to shoot the Winchesters. The Win Supreme HV 1 3/4oz #6 shot in a 3 inch shell. I thought they did a great job and would go back to ttem if I wasn't shooting the Win Extended. I got a great pattern and killed birds out to 40 yards with them.

I can't give you an opinion on the Feds as I have not tried them.

personaly i shoot Remington nitro most of the time but i have used the Winchester sup. when i couldn't get my Rems i found that they pattern well in my gun so i guess if i had to choose Federal or Winchester it would be Winchester

I've shot both through my SBE and it likes the Winchesters better. I tried both through Kicks .655, Wrights .660, TruGlo Bone Collector .667, and TruGlo SSX .643 chokes. I get a more even pattern and fewer flyers with Winchesters than with the Federals an all chokes. The results from the .660 were pretty even compared to the rest to be fair. I had pictures of patterns but they all vanished in a drive crash on my computer.

Neither loads come close to Hevi #6 shot through the .643 choke though. It makes the rest of 'em look stupid.

I use the Winchester Supreme 3.5" #5 and like them very well. I tried the Federals but my gun didnt like them as well.

i've shot winchesters for a long time, used to shoot 3" #6 supreme, but switched to 3" hi-vel. #5, after i did some experimenting, i have an 1187 w/ 21" barrel, had to put new sights on it to center pattern, but it shoots great out to 45 yds.....

Great replies guys. Thanks alot. Looks like I'm leaning to the winchesters but my buddy actually bought some fed magshok yesterday and said he would let me shoot one of his to pattern test against a winchester
