E. I guess.

Well when I first started out my turkey hunting was more like the card game Go Fish. I was just making guesses and hoping. :D

Now I liken my turkey hunting more like a baseball managers approach to his game. I study my opponent, calculate his tendencies, take into account the time of the season, figure in his stregths & weaknesses and how they match up to mine. Then try to "play smart ball" by going with the percentages. I also throw in a gut feeling now and then.

A. chess, due to your waiting to see who makes the wrong move you or the turkey.
Also, I might choose option B. checkers. The reason why is because if you have the option to do your scouting correctly you will know when and where that gobbler likes to be during the day. Then all you have to do is just setup and wait for the ol' boy to come to you. It also helps if you have a good strut zone. Last year I was able to help and kill 6 gobblers in 6 different days within 30 yds in one spot.
Is it turkey season yet?

Interesting, there are no right or wrong answers here.

I think of turkeys as a deck of cards that get shuffled and dealt every night. Each morning I look forward to working with the new hand they dealt me. Going forth without any preconceived notions about which card will come up when and where. Alone just reveling in the randomness of their lives.

I have to say E. Poker, you never know what your going to be delt that morning? You need to know if you should lay them down, hold, or fold em up, and a little luck goes a long ways.

I'd have to say E. poker Because you go into it with hopes of winning big never knowing what hand you will be dealt trying to read your opponent looking ahead for his next move and planning yours.
It aint the killin it's the challenge of the Hunt.

Yeah, I'll say E. and Poker myself. There's a whole lot of variables involved in turkey hunting. You'll never know what the cards say until you play 'em.

I have to say chess, as the wrong move by either party usually results in defeat.

KY- your hotspot reminds me of the quote by the great Earl Mickel,- "The best turkey hunter is a guy with a great spot to hunt!"
"The joy of living is his, who has the heart to demand it." Teddy Roosevelt
