thought that was the case... cuz is still on turkey thugs just not in the front seat just behind the camera like in the old days... they did alot of new things on the show it is get n to be a little to product placement based for me... still love bob walker i was watch n mossy oaks shows on-line for a long time just to see bob walker mouth call everything by natural voice!!!

yes i have a fav call also by quaker boy its just the cheap waterproof a'banshee box call with the curved lid man that curved lid is so nice!!! i got it as a gift & thought i would never use this thing but i was wrong turkeys love the sound of the walnut box call!!!??? i now carry it with me all the time...!!! also R.I.P. dick kirby you were the man 52-53 strait grand slams season after season man do the math dick kirby stacked up the long beards like wood!!!

So many of the old guard are disappearing, but I'd be shocked if Quaker Boy disappeared. I have a good friend who hunted for several years with Dick and he often hunted our area. My friend brought him by many times and he usually was packing a dead turkey. He could be a bit demanding and arrogant at times but I also seen several times he made things right for some hunters. Overall I think Dick was a good guy and sportsman. Many people try to attach themselves to these guys and TV shows, you have to sort them out. Take the turkey thug show. I personally know one of the thugs (from past seasons) and ran him off the family property with a threat that if I ever saw him near it again he would be seeing a man with a badge. A group of us actually escorted him out of a conference once. This makes me very cautious of TV personalities, but Dick Kirby was not one of them. I once confronted Dick about a problem I had with an unfulfilled promise of one of his pro staffers. I got a letter the next week explaining the problem was addressed and by the way here is enough free mouth calls to get you through a couple years. The man built a good company it would be a shame if someone let it go under.

When the main site goes down for maintenance, or to add the new product line for example, it takes the forum down as well. No worries, Quaker Boy is going to be running strong and coming Hard in 2013

wear are you from eggshell??? up north? out west? back east? or down south??? i have seen you say you like yo head down to KY so i assume ur from IN/OH states???

i wont so what i want to say... but i wish you would name the turkey thug with the trespass issues & the bad temper??? so if i like him i can re think my opinion of the guy...???

i can only assume you are talking about paul butski? maybe chris kirby??? but both of them are still part of the turkey thug show??? bob walker is from AL... the swamper turkey thug is from FL... bubba bruce is from MS same as CUZ strickland & the last thug i cant remember his name is also from MS... down south boys... the only member of the turkey thugs to leave the show was clay beck & he is from & lives in SD...

the most cocky arrogant TV turkey hunters ive seen was ray eye & then rick white 2nd both of HS STRUT if a average joe said something dumb at a show or on a TV show they let him know that they know more them him no doubt instead of letting there dead turkey do the talking for them the next day??? instead i have herd a story 2-3 times about ray eye being at a camp with many average hunters & they all told eye that these turkeys dont like calling & u wont kill a bird if you over call... the next day he took a average joe hunter out & the turkey flew down just out of range from them & ray eye would not call the hunter said call to em ray ray eye just sat there & acted like he never herd the guy this went on till the hunter scared the turkey or the turkey walked off on his own when the hunter & ray eye talked about what happen ray eye said you told me these turkeys dont like calling so i was proving my point this morning...??? needless to say either of them ray eye or the hunter at camp filled a turkey tag that WK it was ray eyes job as the guide or pro hunter to get that man a shot not prove his point the next day to the guy??? can you say arrogant...???

dick kirby was huge in the NWTF he maid calls for auctions to make $$$ for the NWTF i seen more then a few quaker boy DVDs just to watch dick kirby & even in articles i have read about dick when he was alive they said dick was/is a very intense person & really motivated once he gets his mind set to do something... maybe thats wear the arrogant attitude thoughts from others come from??? i never seen it? dick kirby got just as excited over every turkey he shot as he did his 1st turkey u can tell a guy that loves turkey hunting now days you watch these new turkey hunting shows & once they shoot a bird there attitude goes to like finely i can stop chase n this dumb bird & go back to deer hunting or shed antler hunting??? they throw the turkey on the ground & say there how was the video??? i watch these shows wear i guy kills a turkey dosent crack a smile & then heads off to another private land hunt to do the same then complain about how long the drive or flite was to get there??? kirby yelled laughed respected & admired all the turkeys i seen him take on film & actually look at the bird & its beautiful feathers not just the beard...

any way out the turkey thug that trespasses & has a bad temper if hes a fake or fonny on TV thats how he is in real life id love to hear who this person is???
