Poults on the ground

took an alternate route home from the store today to see if any birds were in the fields, we've been in a cloudy/wet pattern for a few days, low and behold there was a young hen and 6 poults in a field about 30 yds off the road, they were really small, and jumpin/flippn around in the cut field.....i love seein them

A buddy found a nest with 11 eggs near his aunt's driveway, not far from the road. As of yesterday, none had hatched. They'll be keeping a close watch on it.
