2012 season

Postby Gopherlongbeards » May 22nd, 2012, 4:45 pm

Well, my season came to an end today. It always shocks me how quickly it goes. All that time spent preparing in anticipation and then its here and gone in a flash. It was a lot of fun (of course) but a bit slow and a tad frustrating at times for me. I was able to hunt a total of 9 days in three different states (MN, WI, and SD) with 5 tags, but only managed to fill one of them. I was oh so close on all but the MN hunt, but things just didn't work out, and we all know how that goes. All in all it was a successful season. Quality time spent with friends and family, some memorable ones that got away, and some more tricks and experience to file away for future seasons. Hope all of you still hunting enjoy yourselves!
