Another Success Story

Postby blacky » April 23rd, 2012, 9:22 am

This young lady, 9 years old and 53 lbs, took this nice gobbler. It weighed 19 1/2 lbs. She shot it with a 28 guage shotgun. Her father called the bird on youth day. He was using my friction calls.

That is just plain awesome. I have an eight year old girl I would love to hunt with, but not till 10 years old here. Awesome to see a smile like that.

Congrats to that young lady on her big bird. Those little 28's will roll a bird if they are close enough. That young lady in our youth hunt took hers with a 28, and that smile looks the same as she had on her face all the way back to the sport shop. You can't help but love those grinny faces that those kids have after taking their birds. :D

What a cutie! Congrats on the young lady for killing her first bird!!
There's more fun in hunting with the handicap of the bow than there is in hunting with the sureness of the gun.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and says it all
And that word would be, "PRICELESS" ;)
