I'm not a pro but I would say that the snow insulated them from the cold weather. I think if there was a problem with them the hen will realize it and start a new nest. I ran accross a nest a couple years ago with 6 eggs in it, we had some colder weather a few days before, the nest was not used again. After about a week predators found the nest and ate the eggs. Baffeling at times the way nature works

What works for me may not work for you and what works today may not work tomorrow
